Fiddler Ideas

The free web debugging proxy for any browser, system or platform.

Not an idea but a problem!

I installed Fiddler to debug a web app I'm developing. I found it useful, but now I want to stop using it. However, I find that if I close Fiddler (or stop capturing traffic) I am not able to access my app from Chrome (my primary browser).  Firefox continues to work fine. The only way I can continue to use Chrome to access my app is to keep Fiddler running.

I've tried changing the proxy settings, with no luck and I really have no idea what is going on. I've also tried uninstalling FIddler, and uninstalling Chrome but even this does not fix the problem. It seems bizarre that only Chrome is affected.

Can you advise please?

Review your proxy settings in Chrome to make sure it is not trying to go directly to Fiddler
