First off, I would like to show my appreciation for your wonderful product. Thanks for Fiddler!!!
I recently upgraded to version 5.0.20173.50948. The installer claimed that the upgrade failed: "Running Fiddler did not succeed. The system cannot find the file specified". After that I started experiencing the below issues:
Issue #1: Fiddler no longer cleans up certificates from the stores.
Issue #2: Browser requests seem to fail: either pages don't load or they load just some of the resources. Either way, this renders the page not unusable.
Issue #3, probably related to #2: Fiddler seems not to capture HTTPS, or misses most of it.
All the below did not help. Can you please provide guidance on fixing the issue?
* Restarting Fiddler.
* Manually cleaning all certs.
* Using Fiddlers option to reset the certs.
* Uninstalling and reinstalling Fiddler. I chose to delete configuration as part of uninstall.
* Uninstalling and installing an older version of Fiddler. I chose to delete configuration as part of uninstall.
