It's huge, doesn't have anything to do with Fiddler besides being a Telerik product, and I have no interest in it after having used previous Telerik toolkits.
People already deal with ads when consuming content. Don't add them to shit we use when doing work.
You're complaining about a single advert in the free product that you are using?
I didn't even know it was there until I read this and I use fiddler daily.
Telerik, quick fix for this - release an ad free version for this guy - $50 subscription based service.
Downgrading from this piece of crap.
What's next? Mining in background?
yeah fuck this, I'm going back to a version that didn't make me want to throw up in my mouth from all the corporate BS.
annoying -- stupid ad changes ever time launched now..
Highly irritating ad. Postman could be a nice other choice if you're only using fiddler to test api's.

Progress Telerik Fiddler? WTF? Don't ruin this tool with your corporate bs. Just call it Fiddler.
This is seriously annoying. We pay for several Telerik products (multiple seats of DevCraft complete) but this kind of things makes me regret that we do.
It shows you (Telerik) don't respect the fact that I need to concentrate while working.
Instructions on removal: Uninstall the current build but do not remove settings, download and install previous version of Fiddler from here, go to Tools > Fiddler Options and disable "Notify me for updates on startup", and click OK. As Tsviakto mentioned, the ad has been there, but in the old version it's not eye-bleeding and much more respectable.
Would be great if this ad had a hide/close button -- continuing to show it to me after I've decided to use Kendo is pointless, and after I've decided not to won't magically make me change my mind after seeing it 100 times. Bad UX.
@Peter It should not jump back to the add by itself for sure. The add replaces the former light blue screen with text message that was displayed when the Statistics tab was empty. In effect we changed the text to GUI. We did not change the behavior, though. So what you describe sounds like a bug. Can you reproduce that?
I would not have upgraded if I new it had this ad.
It's absolutely infuriating, if you don't click something in a while it jumps back to the shitty ad, very disruptive!
