Fiddler preventing other programs from having internet connectivity
Not sure if this is a recent change, but I use Microsoft Outlook and Skype, and both are having connectivity issues when Fiddler is running. Also Windows 10 apps seem to be unable to have an internet connection as well.
I found a solution. In Fiddler, navigate to Tools > Win8 Loopback Exceptions, check the box for Skype and/or other apps that you don't want affected/intercepted. Click the Save Changes button at the top. Close the window. Voila. Worked for me on Windows 10.
Do any applications (e.g. browsers) work through Fiddler? If browsers fail, what is the error message?
The most likely possibility is that Fiddler's HTTPS certificate hasn't been trusted but needs to be. The second most likely possibility is that you need to push the WinConfig button at the top left of Fiddler and choose to exempt all applications from loopback restrictions so they can connect through Fiddler.
