It would mean you could keep certain sessions visible while everything else scrolls past.

This would probably be very very difficult to accomplish using the Windows ListView control, unless there's a clever trick you could do based on sort columns. The closest you could probably come is to use the Tools > New Session Clipboard feature to create a clipboard of "interesting" sessions that you want to keep around.
